Freeport LNG has made environmental, health and safety considerations a priority in its business planning and in the design and implementation of its projects. It encourages respect and concern for the environment and emphasizes each employee’s individual responsibility in environmental matters through appropriate communications and training.

A part of Freeport LNG’s business philosophy is to contribute to the community, and the company has consistently broadened its projects and leadership roles in the LNG terminal area. Building on its participation in local programs and charities since 2003, when the development of the Freeport LNG terminal project commenced, Freeport LNG has built a strong tradition of working with and contributing to a number of local civic and humanitarian organizations through the volunteer efforts of its employees and contractors and through charitable contributions.
